Edgewood Elementary School
Project Manager:  Ian McIlvaine

Scope of Work: 1. Expand existing trail system in the woods beside the school.

2. Raking, shoveling, trimming bushes and hauling mulch.

3. Creation of an outdoor learning space in the woods by cleaning and sealing log stools.

Project is outside at Edgewood Elementary School located at 550 Hawk's Ridge Road, Charleston, 25302.

Scope of Work:  We will be staining the front deck, creating and installing landscaping around the front with mulch and flowers, working to stabilize and straighten the underpinning of the double wide.  We will also work to help them move materials from current daycare to new daycare.

Scope of Work: Dog walking, cat cuddling, and Kong stuffing. The latter includes scooping peanut butter into rubber toys that provide enrichment to dogs while they're in their kennels.

MacCorkle Avenue Trash Pick Up

Scope of Work: This project will kick off at boat launch parking lot just down river from the Verizon building. Gloves and trash bags will be provided. As the group prepares to depart, several cars will be driven down to the old Sport Mart lot to shuttle people back to their cars once finished. The group will work west down river.

Neighbor to Neighbor Clendenin

Scope of Work: This team will be providing some much-needed TLC to the homes of flood survivors.  One home needs weed eating, exterior cleaning, landscaping, trimming and mulching.  Another home, 1/2 mile away on Koontz Avenue, needs exterior trim painting and reestablishing the walkway with pea gravel, sand and stone.

Neighbor to Neighbor CRW/Fort Hill Area

Scope of Work: Kole's neighbor is an elderly widow, not in good health, who needs help deep cleaning a bathroom and organizing and sorting her deceased husband's clothing in anticipation of moving. This is a great project for anyone who is medically trained or likes to organize stuff!

CLB for Littles - Charleston Campus

Location - River Ridge Church, Charleston, 9:30 am-10:30 am.
Preschool children age 2-5 are invited to come to River Ridge Church at 9:30 during Church Has Left the Building for a serving project designed just for littles. 
**This project is NOT a drop-off childcare service.  Preschool age children will need to be under the supervision of an adult caretaker.  Children and their caretaker will be led through a short lesson about childhood hunger and then participate in packing backpack blessing bags for children who attend the 2nd Avenue Center in Charleston.
